AWAIBA’s core business is the development of custom specific CMOS image sensors. Those sensors are usually not available on the market. Besides custom specifica products AWAIBA offers an ever increasing number of standard products developed outside exclusive custom development contracts and freely available to the market.

Currently AWAIBA can anounce the following standard products:

NanEye miniature digital CMOS sensor for endoscopic applications

The NanEye sensor series provides high resolution CMOS image sensing performance in minimal form factor. The sensor, assembled with a special lens fits in a diameter of only 1.4mm, works fully autonomous and can drive up to 2m cable without any external components at the distal end.

DRAGSTER highspeed Linescan sensor family

The DRAGSTER highspeed digital linescan sensor family integrates in most state of the art CMOS technology the first highspeed digital linescan sensors with 12bit resolution, low dark current and ultimate responsivity. The use of digital linescan sensors in highspeed linescan applications greatly reduces the system complexity and cost and increases system performance by reducing read noise generated by the readout path of analogue sensors.
